When I was a student, I took the train from Sevnica to Ljubljana every day. The ride is just long enough to give you time to think and observe…<\/p>\n

Along the way, my eye often caught colourful crates, boxes and traditional beehives – the homes of small, industrious insects. I borrowed the book From the Honey Bee to Honey<\/strong> in the library just out of curiosity, but it pushed me from the bookshelves to the daily research of bee biology. But you can’t sweeten the tea with a beekeeping book, and a decision was made: I bought two colonies<\/strong> and a beekeeping outfit and, as an agronomy student at the Faculty of Biotechnology, enrolled in the elective course of beekeeping.<\/p>\n

My student years were also the time when I got to know what makes me happy and fulfilled what my mission actually is<\/strong>. What inspires me, encourages me to learn more and sparks creativity in me.
