Second year Production Queens are open mated, bred in the previous beekeeping season with known origin on the maternal side.

The breeding farm is located in the valley of the Sava river, where we try really hard to maintain the top genetics of drones of the Apis mellifera carnica subspecies. By using the latest knowledge of how queens and drones behave in nature in relation to our geographical features, we strive for the best results.

Second year production queens are available in April and early May.
